Is this compatable with the 54v flexvolt dewalt batteries?

Hello! No it isn't AT ALL. You have to buy 36 v batteries and charger!

what batteries can i use with this?

This chainsaw needs the bigger american garden tool type 36V battery which they call 40V. The normal UK 36V battery will not fit as it is too small. I think this battery is the Dcb 407 Max Premium Xr lithion iron 7.5Ah and can be obtained from ebay. The problem is I don't think they make a UK type charger for this battery and so it is useless in the UK. I instead bought a Dewalt 54V flexvolt 40cm chainsaw which the batteries and charger are available in the UK. The 54V flexvolt battery will also fit Dewalt 18V tools

Not Compatible with my existing Dewalt 36V batteries

I already owned Dewalt 36V tools and was disappointed to find the batteries were too small to fit the chainsaw. I found a larger 36V 7.5ah battery that would fit but I had to give up when I could not obtain a battery charger for it.

Gerät ist BJ 2017, es sind die Akkus derzeit in Österreich oder Deutschland nicht mehr erhältlich!

Alter des Gerätes und Tatsache, dass das Gerät eigene Akkus braucht, die derzeit nicht erhältlich sind, wäre schon fair gewesen. Nachfolgemodell gehen mit allen FlexAkkus 54 Volt!!!
