Great for a platform bed - if you change to wall hung.
This one actually looks like the photo - same color!We purchased a wood platform bed with no headboard.We wanted a headboard, but it would probably have to be something we could put on the wall since a platform bed doesn’t have holes to attach a headboard.And we needed the headboard to be at a certain height so pillows wouldn’t hide the entire thing.This was light enough to attach to the wall.We got 2 “french cleat” hangers to attach the headboard to the wallWe also put a couple small felt pads on the back of the headboard (the kind you put under chair legs)There is some variation on the wood surrounding the cane / rattan. I can live with it.

This is beautiful my only suggestion would be but whatever Bed frame they suggest or look at the measurements. It didn't match the frame I had so I bought another one and it didn't match either...
