Great sailing boots but they run small order one size up

Great shoes, but be very careful the ankles are sooo small and cannot be adjusted. Had to return and get the lace ones.

For many years, I'd been racing bigger sloops in Sperry Harbormaster sneakers and was able to stay pretty warm and dry. Last year I started racing a trimaran off the Southern California coast, and because of the nature of the boat, I got soaked. The boots keep my feed warm and dry, so that I don't end up shaking at the end of a six hour race. The footing is quite good, too! Finally: I was surprised by how affordable the boots are -- highly recommend.

These are good boots if you’re looking to keep your feet warm and dry especially in cold spring water temperatures.

Wish it worked out the craftsmanship is great. EN size for the foot / sole accurate but the ankle/ lower shin is super narrow and would not zip. Had to return and get a lace up model.

I normally wear a US 10.5 so I ordered a US 11-12. It fits tight if you’re wearing thin socks. If I were to buy again, I would go two sizes up to be comfortable. I was told directly by a Gill rep that they are watertight. First time out, water poured in through the zipper area. Totally soaking my socks. Both boots; so it must be a design flaw. The pull up loop is too small to put your finger in and I don’t see the need for the Velcro strap around the top. Despite its short comings, they are put together nicely and look like quality construction.

Fürs erste schaut der Schuh ganz gut aus. Man wird sehen wie lange die Klebeverbindungen zusammen bleiben. Anfangs trocken rein kommen war etwas zäh, ging aber doch. Liegt gut an und die Lasche zum verstellen ist mit einem Klettverschluss versehen. Wie es dann bei Segeln und Meer schwimmen ist, wird sich zeigen.

Great boots, very hard to take off if wet and wearing barefooted. I use a pair of thin socks and they come off easily. I use them for wing foiling.

Bought these to replace a worn out pair. These have very good grip for when on the boat and keep my feet warm whilst wearing them. They are easy to get on and off my feet, which some brands are not. They seem to be hard wearing so far.
