American Extractors 14" 4-Jet Hard Surface Grout & Tile Scrubber Wand

Update: This little thing adds money to virtually every job. I wish it was a little longer though. But as you can see, it gets the job done. That picture just earned an extra $100.00 to each job at that complex and the 6 others they own. First things first, this is obviously not a heavy duty wand. It's incredibly light weight, quite short as well. However, for the money, it's a keeper. You're going to want to replace the brass 8002 jets it comes with, that's way too narrow of a spray for being that close to the floor. I replaced them with 9015 on the outside and 11002 on the inside. I turned them just a grunt to stagger the spray pattern so it doesn't streak. I may go with wider jets in the center though, still a slight gap, nothing a good overlap won't fix though. I wouldn't run this over 700psi unless you want a mess. It works great on various forms of LVP, VCT, concrete and tile. The brushes are stiff when new, get em good and hot and they'll break in quicker. So, this ain't a Gecko, but you're not paying for one either. In some ways it's better. The Jets are angled inward, reducing spray through the brushes and the head is lower, allowing you to get under the lowest cabinets. It absolutely pays for itself on the first job. I highly recommend this wand if you're just starting out with LVP or if an employee likes to break stuff all the time. Don't give them this though, it'll break very easily.

i have a floor business i run the floor buffer and script this was much better for my wife to use to get the water up using the truckmount instead of mop or vacuum light weight and made the job easy and fast if you have a truckmount this is the best way that i have seen i dont need my hydro force anymore

I bought this as a backup for occasional use and it has exceeded my expectations. It's not as robust and probably not as serviceable as the other brand named after a lizard but for the price, you can't beat it. It's been on one of our Butler truck vans for about 7 months so far and works well. While it doesn't get used nearly as often as a carpet wand, or even a ceramic rotary hub, we use it at least several times a week for vinyl and some laminates. I will probably buy a couple more for the other crews.

Great wand for it's price. I will definitely be buying more as I need them. They are not the thickest metal but it gets the job done and way cheaper than other brands.

Start making money right away. The tool pays for itself in a job or two. Leaves some water behind so make sure you do a dry pass and set a fan. I was skeptical at the beginning but Im glad I order this wand. Dont think about it and go out there and offer LVP cleaning and diversify a little. You can always upgrade later on if you want. 1.5 inch wand so make sure you get a 2" adaptor for it. 👍

Love it! It gets the smaller jobs done on the cheap! I am a professional carpet cleaner and used to turn down the hard floor jobs.
