Hi. I am a H&S manager for a large manufacturing company. They are steel toe capped anti slip and anti puncture souls. I believe the anti slip is to SRA OR SRC rating. I endorse these for use in our plant. I hope this helps.

Q: Are these true to size, or Do I need to order size 5.5 to get a UK 38?

Well I always buy size 10, which is a good fit for me, but there can be slight variation with different brand/manufactures. With this particular buy, I guess, 9.5 would've been perfect fit. A thick pair of socks for loose ones and a thin for tight ones can sort this out if you feel like it.
