Also, it's a little softer than the ones I've used recently, some of those have been the texture of a block of yellow lego and you need to rub them in your hands with the kind of vigour last seen by Mr Miyagi at the end of The Karate Kid. This, however, is softer, I suspect they use a higher ratio of shea butter to wax than the others. It's nice, I like it. It also has a slightly citric fragrance. It's supposed to be orange but my nose picks up more of a lemony or perhaps grapefruit notes. Either way, it's a good clean smell. The oil. First of all, this is a very light oil. It gives a nice finish and is great on the skin. If you have a beard that goes all over the place this won't be heavy enough calm that frizz, saying that, if you use it alongside the balm you'll be fine. The oil is almost scentless. That's not a bad thing as it doesn't then clash with anything else you may be using, it also means that by having very little in the way of essential oils it won't bother people with sensitive skin. Overall this is a great little set that depending on the type of beard you have and how often you use it will keep you going for a long old time.
