Used this to stop the draft around my wood stove and it worked perfectly. Blocks the draft without worrying if it will get too hot while the stove is on. Easy to use and easy to cut if you're fitting it into a specific space. Comes with everything you'll need to get your job done.

Wear gloves, it does give off some dust when handling/cutting. I felt itchy on my arms and face after installing. Easy to cut, comes with razor. Used to replace oven insulation from mouse damage, easy to install. The exterior oven walls didn't feel warm on the sides where the solid sheet was. This is even when I used the wrong size, my model had 2", Whirlpool RF364PXPT. So this only worked for the top and sides where it draped down against the metal, and was only long enough for that. Too much open space on the back and bottom, I will have to get 2" for those areas, I used the leftover off cuts for the bottom and it got hot when the oven was on. Don't do that, use a whole sheet and overlap (common sense, I know, trying to be cheap with an old stove). I also recommend taking your oven apart first to determine what's needed, before ordering, if you can't find info online on replacement parts.

I purchased the insulation for a homemade melting furnace and was a little apprehensive about how much it would cover and if I would have enough. But after receiving the order and comparing what I received to the amount needed I was pleasantly surprised to realize that I would have enough for my initial project as well as enough leftover for a smaller furnace that I wanted to build. I can't comment on it's thermal abilities because I am not that far along in the build and I have to purchase the rigidizer yet but I will add to the review once I have used the furnaces and have had the opportunity to evaluate its performance.

Wrapped my perlite pizza dome with this installation. Just a single layer (doubled up at the very top) Interior gets over 1100° exterior barely warm to the touch! Outdoor oven stays hot for hours AFTER the fire goes out!

Built me a double burner forge out of a old 10 gal propane tank needed some high temp insulation this was the perfect size I needed and works great I'll take pictures when I first up next time soon

The bricks are effective, but very friable, so the inner and outer boxes came with lots of dust and particles that had worn off the brick surfaces during shipping.

Perfect size, easy to work with. I used it to replace the oven insulation that mice had nested in.

Happy with insulation effect. Durable for outside with rain covering.
