Lovely toy. We traveled on Hayabusa from Hakodate to Aomori. This toy remind us about beautiful Hokkaido. Kids and adults are very happy. You should buy tracks separately. Only two small special track are included: One speeds up Hayabusa, another slows it down.

Non-coupling, speed changing Hayabusa Shinkansen
This is the Hayabusa Shinkansen with the speed changing feature. It is not the coupling kind that connects with Komachi. Using the included red or green rails, the train is able to change its speed. The paint is rather pearl green instead of the green shown in the Amazon product picture. Maybe there was a color change recently. Everything is made really well. If you've ever handled a Takara Tomy train, you know the quality is good. The price is reasonable and fair considering the currency exchange.
