Good question - I forgot to write about that in my review! I am very sensitive to scents, but I honestly had to go upstairs to smell it, as I couldn't remember if it has one...even though I used it this morning! It does have a scent; it's a very light, sweet (but not overly so), pleasant scent that I think must dissipate, as I obviously don't remember it's there! Only a small lock of my hair is long enough to bring to my nose to smell - & I can't smell anything on it; that might be different if I could smell a larger amount of hair. No matter - I never smell it after I've used it, & I've never had anyone comment on how my hair smelled after I used it - positively or negatively! I've been using it for three or four years & haven't gotten sick of the scent (nor, obviously, realized there was one, more than in passing!), & I usually DO get tired/sick of scents quickly. If it were I, I'd think it was safe enough of a bet to try it. Oh! Perhaps a hair salon near you sells these products? You could go in & sniff it there! Good luck!

Would this hair serum be similar to chi silk infusion, biosilk or silk drops from regis?  does it help detangle? thx!

Have used 10 Styling Serum for a few years now. It has definitely helped with detangling my hair after washing it. - I par-dry my hair and spread a couple of drops ton my hands and apply it through my hair (especially where I need to detangle). Amount used depends on how long/ sparse etc your hair is - don't apply too much, or your hair could get sticky. (you will work out the amount as you use it)  - A couple of drops spread out works for me. Hope this helps!

Can you use it on dry hair?

I use it on dry hair before I use a curling iron or straightener. It makes my hair so shiny and healthy looking. My hair is thick and tends to frizz. This is an amazing product!
