Daewoo QT1 Compact Microwave Oven, 600 Watt, 14 Litre - White

Unbelievable value and just what a single person needs. I was a wee bit wary of buying this as it was so cheap. After using it for a couple of weeks I find there is nothing "cheap" about the way this microwave works and it is giving me full satisfaction. My older microwave broke down a couple of years back and since then I have managed without one though I did miss the almost instant gratification of a hot meal or snack and was instead using a tabletop mini oven or my gas stove to heat food. I came across this Daewoo Microwave whilst browsing for something else and the price immediately caught my eye. (At the time it was £40 for the white model.) After reading all the details it seemed perfect for my needs: very small footprint; relatively light weight (easy to handle); some quite good reviews. (I ignored the ones saying the "numbers wash off" - that is easily solved!) So I bought it. And after numerous uses over the past fortnight I am most pleased with my purchase. Though it is only a 600W machine, this is ample for my reheating of either home made meals or heating up purchases of single portion meals which are so handy when living alone and getting on a bit. The fact that it is a lower output than most of today's models give me the time to potter around and get the bits and bobs ready for when I eventually sit down. (And incidentally, this is the fourth microwave I have owned and for reheating, I have *always* used every machine on the 2nd setting, i.e. one step down from full power. To me, it then heats more evenly and again gives me that extra bit of time to potter about which I do need these days.) All-in-all, a fantastic purchase especially at the Amazon price, and as it was so cheap, I even forked out for a 3 year insurance coverage which at £9.00 still equated to a great bargain: £49.00 for s decent microwave, guaranteed for 3 years! You won't find better than that anywhere, IMHO.

This was a impulse buy to use in a motor home fiat duccato coach built. We where going to France and taking two year old daughter with us and wanted this to heat baby food/milk quickly on the go and also we where staying on sites with no electric hook up. This item preformed great and with the use of a inverter ran off our three 100ah leisure batteries with out any issue. We wild camped in the same place for a week and the microwave was used daily twice for five minutes at any one time. It is small fits into small spaces. will not take a baby plastic milk bottle as the height is restricted hence we poured milk in plastic cup heated then into milk bottle. No 30 seconds times but this is fine you can twist knob slightly if you desire 30 seconds! no light on when you leave door open so can leave it with door open to air it out with no worries about battery drain. light only comes on when it is working, which is good idea. it is not very heavy which is also handy when you have to move it around etc. All in all a good little microwave,

First, the measurements currently given in the description are wrong! It is 42.4cm x 31.7cm x 22.3cm (according to the manual and checked by me). Power-wise you can tell its only 600 watts with "large" jobs such as jacket potatoes, but small jobs (such as a cup of milk) seem to take the same time as with an 800w microwave. I love that it has no clock, and the internal light only comes on when the microwave is on so you can leave the door open to air it out without using electricity. I hate the fact that I can't put it on for 30 seconds (my last microwave had a 30 second quick start button) - the dial tends to twist in one minute increments. You can try and get it halfway between 0 and 1 minute but its fiddly and rather hit and miss. This loses it one star.

I purchased the Daewoo QT1 after much searching for a really small microwave oven. It was to be fitted into a space in a campervan which had once housed a small gas oven. I discovered that there are very few genuinely small microwaves around. 14 litre is a quite adequate size, and 600 watts, adequate power for this application when using mains power 'hook up' on camp sites. The Daewoo fitted perfectly, and the styling fits in smartly with the kitchen area in the vehicle. In use the oven is efficient, and produces much less heat into the kitchen unit than the gas oven did previously. I am very pleased with the Daewoo QT1, which would suit any one looking to fit a small convenient microwave in a similar application, for example into a boat or caravan. I do not cook with a microwave. I bought it because I have a small pillow used on sore muscles that must be heated up in a microwave. I was looking for small size, low energy use, to do the job. I trolled the internet for reviews of small and tiny microwaves, and this had the smallest dimensions and buyers were happy with it. Of course, I have used it for other things and due to its small size, it will not take a large plate (a complaint by some reviewers) - but I easily switched the item to be defrosted into a pasta bowl and it fit just fine. Oven has lower wattage meaning things take longer but again, as I am not cooking, no big deal. Does exactly what I wanted it to do......was inexpensive, is easy to clean, the light switches off at the end of the cycle even with the door open....

I needed a compact low power & lightweight microwave for our caravan. At 600w output it won't be a problem using it on a campsite electrics unlike the usual 800 / 850w models which can trip the site electrics. It seems well made with a good finish and is big enough capacity for our needs. Controls are simple & perfectly adequate. The interior is easy to clean & should be durable. In short does all we require of it. Only complaint was with Amazon - unusually they took a week to even dispatch it - when queried why delay - they could not give me an answer. All my previous purchases from Amazon have been very quickly delivered - so this slow service was most unusual.

Looking for a small microwave for a campervan this looked Ideal got it out of box and top was dented, as it was going in a cupboard not to big an issue and tested it worked fine. however when it came to putting it in the cupboard it rocked as the rear feet were out of alignment by a good 5 mm examination showed it was also severely dented below. As we were off in the van we decided to live with it. Having returned from the trip we were very pleased with the performance, no issues with tripping the site hook. so as any trained maintenance person would I have straightened the base and reduced the dents top and bottom to a far less noticeable ding and the whole thing sits flatter in its cupboard without any noticeable rocking. much happier now . Lesson learned - check before you dispose of the packing and order well before you need it. PS don't try this at home if you are not sure what you are doing and don't have a microwave leak tester to check it out before and after.

We bought this little machine for refitting our new boat, a1978 cabin cruiser. It fitted in as if designed for the space and it’s styling looks just right too. I mainly use a microwave for heating milk for coffee, reheating vegetables and heating beans. This works just fine and handles beautifully with only a chime when it switches off. I have always bought stainless steel digital push button pinging microwaves for home. Now I would gladly replace them with one of these. The 600w output seems no different to me than the 700w of other small microwaves and it’s inability to grill bacon is a blessing- no bacon fat in my morning coffee. Boat or caravan users might like to know that it is 1000w input. Best Buy of 2018 for me.

Dimensioni, peso e assorbimento contenuti sono il suo forte. In realtà la versione che mi è stata recapitata è la "QT3" di colore rosa. Funzionamento semplice e perfetto. Come da indicazioni fornite manca il Grill, peccato.
