Great little heaters for keeping damp at bay from cupboards and wardrobes. We have a very old house and some of our nooks and crannies get damp and mould. These little heaters give enough heat to warm the area And keeps air circulating. They are only 40 watts , so cheap to run, and can be left on permanently, the thermostat prevents cupboards getting too warm.

These things get hot but give off very little heat. I have wardrobe that my clothes always felt damp. This thing sits in the bottom and brings the clothes up to room temperature just enough to stop my clothes feeling damp. So yes it works but do not expect it to heat even a small space that much. It is the smallest one that I have.

I wanted a very low power heater to place in the storage / garage of my Motorhome to protect against frost. This heater is compact and cheap to run. Perfect for a low level background heat. Fit for purpose.

We live in a 200 year old cottage that will always have cold spots, and damp of course. These tubular heaters have been a game changer. We have them everywhere - I think we have eight or more hidden around the house, doing their thing. They have an inbuilt thermostat so they'll tick on and off when the weather warms up, and I don't give them a second thought most of the time. We have found them most useful for wardrobes - clothes were coming out musty and sometimes even mouldy in spring especially. Since putting one of these at the back of the wardrobes, that has resolved itself. We use them with the protective cage in case anything falls. We have one inside a welsh dresser that was smelling rather nasty - no more damp! And even underneath the kitchen cupboards in one corner of the kitchen - drilled a few holes in the base to let the air circulate, and lo - no more soggy wet packets of food. Definitely recommend.

I bought this for an entrance vestibule which suffers from condensation and dampness in winter. Easy to fit and works enough to keep the temperature high enough to avoid condensation however it does not noticeably warm the space so if it's heat you're after this is not for you.

What a fantastic little heater this is! Rated at 40W (equivalent to a low powered light bulb) it really gives out some warmth and you can control it with it's built in thermostat, so won't be burning loads of electricity. Well made and looks good, can't fault it. I'm one very satisfied customer and will be buying another one.

I like these heaters, and now they are thermostatic. Although there is no degradation of degrees, you just set it at the ambient temperate by listening for a click. If your house is at 20 degrees, then that point is 20. And adjust from there. My only complaint, is that there should be an LED light coming on, when the heater is in operation. When trying to set up the heater to the right temperature, it would be nice to see when it has switched itself on. The heater is in a chicken coup, and not very accessible, so feeling if it is hot it is awkward.
