Can I use the #8 for Hydrangeas? I know the #1 is recommended, but would #8 work as well?

Hi there! You're right that typically, a #1 is recommended for Hydrangeas. Using a #8 might be a bit on the strong side for them. The #3 could be a better option since it's more in line with what you'd use for a #1.

Is Hormex #3 or #8 better for rooting roses?

Typically we recommend Hormex Rooting Powder #3 for roses. However, if the variety is known to be heartier or happens to be a bit older, some of our customers use #8 with great success.
