Great EGR cleaner really pleased with it

I recently used the Holts EGR & Carb Cleaner Spray on a minibus after engine management light came on and threw up an EGR fault, and the results were impressive. Excellent product, I used this to clean a heavily carbonised air intake butterfly throttle valve on my Mazda 6. Must be used outside in a well ventilated area as it does give off a lot of fumes, and do not use on a hot engine as it is highly flammable. A few coatings firstly softened the hardened carbon deposites, I then lightly scrubbed all parts with a soft toothbrush followed up with a final spray coat then wiping off all residues with lint free cloths, the valve and body looked brand new after cleaning. The engine started first time without any problems and now purrs like a kitten holding steady rpm I highly recommend this product.

Good product

Purchased to clean my cars throttle body after experiencing EGR issues and other recirculating faults causing limp mode in my 2.0L 2015 Vauxhall insigna. Hundreds of pounds spent in the mechanic to find this fault, £6 and 20 minutes with this stuff and it was gone for good. Very easy to use simply spray and wipe and gunk was removed. Certainly one I’ll be keeping around in the garage for the future.

It works absolutely brilliantly. I Sprayed the Ventura " not a carburetor " in the old sense of Automotive technology. But a air volume sensor. I Sprayed the unit to soak first. Removing it from the engine air inlet manifold first. Did the cleaning outside "due to the Fumes " . I spent two days cleaning the unit and literally watched the dirty flow out of the Ventura, useing a old clean paint brush and a match stick for the really stubborn particles and stains. Then refitted the unit back to the air inlet manifold, fired up the car reataching the battery before " this is were the Ventura recalibrates it self" one minute to do the calibration, the model of car a Renault clio 1.2 . It just jumped into ignition and purred like a kitten. Dislike the Fumes try to clean parts outside and not in your home if you're a Automotive DIY person or a professional mechanic and try not to breathe in the fumes if you can or wear a face mask best way. Conclusion brilliant product 👍🏾.

Waw quel bon produit, super efficace, pas besoin de démonter la vanne egr il suffit de le pulvériser à l'entrée du papillon ou l'entrée de la vanne si vous avez accès. Justement je vais m'en acheter un autre.

Il prodotto è facile da usare e ha ripristinato le prestazioni del motore, eliminando i residui di carbonio e migliorando la risposta del motore. Ho notato subito una maggiore fluidità nelle accelerazioni e una riduzione dei consumi. La qualità del prodotto è evidente, e il motore sembra funzionare in modo più efficiente. Habe mir den AGR Reiniger auf die Empfehlung eines Kumpels gekauft, um den Ladedrucksensor bei meinem Diesel zu säubern. Reinger aufgesprüft, ca. 5 Minuten einwirken lassen und anschließend den Schmock mit einem Lappen abgewischt. Sensor sieht aus wie neu und funktioniert wieder tadellos.
