is the leather part removable If i dont need to use it or is it stiched on?

It is not stitched on and I do believe the metal wallet can come out. But I think there’s a glue or sticky substance holding it? Sometimes the metal wallet starts to come out of the leather but only a tiny bit. I’ve pushed it back into the leather but haven’t tried to pull it completely out.
