It's like having an Indian restaurant in your pantry
As a huge fan of Indian food for most of my life, I've had many amazing and flavorful dishes at restaurants, and far too many disappointing jars of curry sauces and prepared meals from supermarkets. For some reason, it just seems like that special spark of flavor can't be bottled or preserved. I stopped buying jars of curry sauces because they all tasted the same, and nowhere near as good as the real thing. Making my own curries came out better than I expected - but require time and effort, and a wide variety of ingredients. So the convenience of this product appealed to me. But due to past disappointments, I went into this purchase with some skepticism and low expectations.I am happy to say - this line of products has solved that problem. I don't know if it's the freeze dried approach, or high quality ingredients, or what. But these dishes are absolutely delicious and packed with flavor. The standout for me so far is definitely the Paneer Butter Masala, but I have also tried the Sambar Idly and Methi Matar Malai so far and loved those too. The Sambar is amazing on a cold day if you need to warm up a bit, and the Malai is scrumptious slurped up with some naan. I look forward to trying more of the dishes - while there are only a few on Amazon, there is quite a variety on their website. The only downside is that the portions are a bit small, and the price a bit pricy for what you get. That won't stop me re-ordering, but I will have to order a little less frequently than I'd like. I'm not even sure if it's less expensive than ordering Indian takeout - but the convenience of having it at home and ready to heat up in a few minutes is valuable to me. I do hope as this company scales they can be a bit more competitive on price. Anyway, I would not go into these expecting them to serve two as it states. If you're having the Paneer as a meal, one package prepared served with rice and naan or roti is a perfect portion for one. If you're splitting it with someone, it could really only be a side dish. But it's quite a delicious one - you're not going to want to share. There is a great kick of spice to all of the ones I've tried - just the right level for me. If you're not a fan of spice, just keep in mind that these will pack more punch than those store-bought curry jars I mentioned. And if you like things real spicy, maybe check out the Naagin brand Indian hot sauce - I am a big fan of that too.All in all, I am really happy to see these products on the market. The Cumin Club has something really special here, and if you're a fan of Indian food you should not hesitate to give any of these a try. The variety packs are a great value and an easy way to try out a few different meals. Enjoy!

Just Spicey Enough
I am new to indian food, so this was an experiment for me. First, I had to look up paneer, and it's cheese. I dehydrated the cubes per instructions. I added the spice mixture that smelled great. Let it simmer a bit. I'd say it took around 15 minutes total. I cooked some rice, and poured the stuff over it. It was really good and surprisingly filling. I like it. It's just spicy enough. My stomach feels good after eating. Thanks.

Love this company!
I stumbled on the Cumin Club when looking for fast and easy Indian food. The price was a bit high to me at first, but after trying the foods, I understand why. These meals taste fresh and authentic and are definitely high quality and delicious. You can tell that this company puts a lot of thought into everything they offer and the taste is phenomenal! The Paneer Butter Masala is spicy and fragrant but not overwhelming and the paneer has a great texture once rehydrated. Definitely worth the price difference compared to similar products.

Delicious, but sparce on Paneer
This is a delicious butter masala, but I was disappointed in the small amount of paneer included with the package. I've also purchased the Palak Paneer and it has the same quantity provided. I make a side of basmati rice and add chicken to the masala for a well rounded meal.I highly recommend the curry club. Check out their website, too! You won't be disappointed.

Great product
I love Indian food and this product is restaurant quality, easy to prepare and great to keep on hand at home.

Child serving size
I was surprised by the serving size. It seemed a bit expensive but I was glad to try. I had to make 3 packages to feed 2 adults. The quality is fair but the size is small. Good to try if you have extra cash to spend, not a good value.

Delicious and great flavors
I am really enjoying the Cumin Club paneer butter masala. The gravy is rich and flavorful, has a good amount of spice to it, and the paneer themselves are squeaky and hold up well to the sauce. I was skeptical at first about a freeze dried meal kit, but it really works. There are no preservatives, lower sodium than in other similar shelf stable or frozen kits, and honestly much better flavor. I appreciate that Cumin Club offers some of their products on Amazon: I wasn't ready to commit to a subscription without trying them first, but now that I have tried the food I placed a subscription order with them.

Expensive
I would totally eat this but itโs not that tasty with the recommendation they provide for us to prepare. You need additional ingredients to make it the way restaurants make. So this is currently expensive for the offering it hasReducing this to $4 a packet would be when I switch this to a 5/5
