These candles seem pretty good value at about twenty seven pence each - and useful to have ready in some quantity. Although they are red on the outside the interior is white which to me indicates slightly less than top quality. However Price's candles are a well known make and the candles burn evenly down without excessive quantities of wax dripping. As they don't 'go off', a box like this can last for years. Slender but strong they stand tall and steady, useful in seasonal table centre pieces, standing in candle sticks, burning safely inside lanterns. There's something sweetly cheerful about a red candle, it draws the eye and creates a sense of occasion. Plus it could be jolly useful in a power cut to have a good supply to hand... Although I am not actually 'prepping' for the 21st December 2012, I do like to be prepared!

16 of the candles were broken. I have bought this pack several times before and the candles have been excellent but I will not be buying them again. Interestingly, the box no longer displays the royal warrant as previously yet Price's are still listed as having it. I am wondering if these are the genuine article?

I bought these as I wanted dark green candles, however, on lighting one, it is only green on the outside and just a normal white candle on the inside... disappointing to say the least!

Le candele vanno bene; le ho acquistate per mia madre che durante il Natale si diletta con la realizzazione di "centri tavola" con rigorosamente candela rossa al centro. Purtroppo queste candele colore rosso sono più care acquistate sotto Natale.
