The brush you get works just fine but I personally like to use a larger brush for wider and faster coverage. I use this when I have body tan, as my skin is very fair and would say this would be perfect for light/medium with a warmer undertone. I would not recommend putting on unprimed skin even if you are oily skinned, as it might come out more patchy if the base it is being applied to is uneven. Equally if you swirl too much on to the brush it will look more patchy as well, as the excess will stick more to wherever you first applied. I mistakes when I first used then realised all I needed to do was make sure I had done my usual face routine 1st and then keep applying in sections with less on the brush and just going back more often to the pallet. It took the same amount of time to apply as powder.
