How do you set it?** A: as a clock dial, the calibrations indicate one minute per scale. However as an alarm dial, the calibrations indicate 12 minutes per scale. Since it quartz alarm clock, not digital alarm clock, the alarm will goes off nearly the time you set. **Q: How long does the ringing last?** A: LOL! Until the dead are awake! Seriously it keeps ringing... I think it might stop after a minute because it will be past the alarm time. It's so obnoxiously loud that I don't wait that long to find out. ;) **Q: Does the hammer actually strike the bells?** A: Yes, When the alarm goes off, the hammer will strike the bells. **Q: How do I set the alarm at 2: 00 AM?** A: If you mean set the alarm for two am, then all you have to do is line up the alarm hand to the 2 on the clock face and switch the alarm on, (with a small switch on the back of the clock), at any time after two pm the previous day. If you do not wait until after two pm, it will just go off at two pm. If you mean actually setting the alarm at two am, as in fiddling with the clock in the middle of the night, then you might want a different clock, because the backlight only works if you hold the button down, making operating it difficult. If you wake up at the same time every day, however, then all you would need to do is flip the switch, which would be easy to do, even without light. I never had any trouble setting it, and like the clock, just bear in mind that you can only set it for up to a little under twelve hours away. I hope this helps. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ REALY L O U D ! ALARM CLOCK *by D***X on August 3, 2026* Keeps accurate time. Alarm is nice and loud. It took me a second to figure out how to set the actual alarm, but past that, set up is pretty easy. The alarm is decently loud and too annoying to ignore (in a good way). Not overly bulky and difficult to place around the room, either! Definitely recommend. ## Frequently Bought Together - Peakeep Loud Alarm Clock for Heavy Sleepers Adults, Metal 4 Inches Twin Bell Battery Operated Alarm Clocks for Bedrooms Decoration (Peacock Green) - Sharp Big Bang Super Loud Alarm Clock for Heavy Sleepers, 6 Extremely Loud Wake Up Sounds: Rooster, Bugle, Nagging Mom, Jackhammer, Siren, Beep – Up to 115db Volume, Red/Black with Red LED Display --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sn/products/503878420-loud-alarm-clock-for-heavy-sleepers-adults-metal-4-inches](https://www.desertcart.sn/products/503878420-loud-alarm-clock-for-heavy-sleepers-adults-metal-4-inches) --- *Product available on Desertcart Senegal* *Store origin: SN* *Last updated: 2026-10-19*
