I got these rings to use on my dogs' collars since they're constantly roughhousing and ripping each other's tags off. So far so good, they're sturdy enough to resist a Doberman and a Pitbull yanking on them! However, because they're very strong, they are very difficult to get open and can stretch out if pried too far.

Ill preface that my use is for custom pet tags so I needed something that would not fail when owners need it most should a pet get away from them. They were exactly that! I tried three other rings off amazon marketed as strong and they didn't hold up. These are harder to open but spring back perfectly fine for me to get them onto a 3mm eyelet. They're more expensive but Ill pay what is needed for peace of mind!

These are really sturdy but basically impossible to open. I bought for my keychain but I could hardly open them enough to slide keys and such on

Permanently bent after I put an item on the ring. I expected a key ring to keep it's shape.
