This ring bender is alright. I have another ring bender that is similar to this that is more durable and works better though.It is heavy, which the ring benders should be, but it is kind of clunky and just not made with as good quality. The handle is doing alright so far, but usually feels like it might break when I do use this ring bender.It comes with pretty much everything you would need to make the rings, though most of those also seem cheap, especially the ring sizers. The mallet is nice and the instructions are decent.The parts are greasy and they should be greasy, because they do need to be lubricated all the time you use the machine for it to continue to function well, so just don't wear anything fancy when using it.The machines do not come with any metal strips to bend, which I did not expect them to, but I mention this because the metal ring strip blanks are a bit pricey and for me it took a learning curve, how much pressure/force to push with and how fast/slow to turn the handleI learned on the other ring bender machine that I have and I used one of the metal strip blanks then flattened it out as best I could with the mallet to use it again until I got the hang of it. It only took a few times, but I would not want to waste that many metal strip blanks.I am thinking that it would have taken longer for me if I had used this machine to start out with, it just is clunkier and the quality is not the best considering the current price of $109.90. There are other better quality ones out there for a lower price.

This is a very poorly made product. I’ve had to replace it twice because the bar snaps off when I try to bend rings!

It was definitely fun enough to use, but the construction doesn't feel as sturdy as I would like. It is still fun to use even if I am not very good at it, and is a great way to make some gifts for family and friends.
