Does it come with a little oil and wax or do I need ro pay an extra £20 £30 for it?

The board comes without oil or wax. I did nt pay £20/30 for the oil. I bought my oil online - much cheaper than that

What material is this made of? I see that it says maple wood for colour and just wood for material. Is this made of maple wood?

Although I do not know what wood it is made of. This cutting board has served me well over the past year. I have oiled it twice and it is very easy to keep clean
