I’ve been contacted by the seller and although my expectation for the product hasn’t been met in my personal view, they reached out and tried to make it right. I did not take their offer for a replacement or refund, but that is my choice. To be fair, I am updating my star rating, taking into consideration that it’s possible/likely that all non-OEM replacement screens are similar in product quality, so then pricing, quick shipping, and customer service are the key differentiators. In that regard, pricing was fair, and given their outreach, customer service is meaningful.————I had the expectation that this generic replacement screen would be exactly like the original/OEM screen I had before it. That expectation was not met.Half the instructions were about removing the glass, which were very detailed, but the second half pretty much rushed through all the detailed work of unscrewing/disconnecting everything. I had to do some guess work, but eventually figured it out.After I assembled it all back and installed the new screen onto the body, that’s when I felt something was off. The glass edge juts out, so it is no longer a smooth curve from edge to glass. So, fit and finish-wise, I’m not thrilled. But since I use a leather case that covers that edge, I could effectively ignore it. I moved forward and turned on my phone.As soon as I saw my screen light up, I was excited, but halfway disappointed. Something seemed off. It was the screen. When viewed from an angle, I saw a very strong purple hue. The only way I saw normal color was if I looked directly perpendicular to the screen; any slight angle and the color would seem “off” with some purple-ish hue. I compared with my friends phone which had the original screen. Very noticeable difference. So, screen color reproduction-wise, I was pretty disappointed.But, the glass wasn’t broken, and I could use my phone; all touch capabilities were intact. Including the deft hold-press you need to do with app icons with the 6s to enable deletion. So, I decided to stick with it.But wait. There is more.Nearly every phone call I make or receive now seems to register “touch” from my face. I don’t think this is a case of muscle memory atrophy. I’m holding the phone against my ear/face the same way I’ve done for the past decade. I don’t know if this is due to the poor fit of the glass or the panel sensitivity being poorly calibrated/manufactured. This was the last straw.I’m sure there are good generic replacements out there, but I couldn’t find it. I’ll just stick with OEM original parts next time. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works great so far but very difficult installation with poor instructions. *by S***D on Reviewed in the United States on January 18, 2018* The product fit and functions as promised however the instructions are terrible. Tiny photos that were poor quality and the print difficult to read without a magnifying glass. They get you to take your phone apart and then simply state to reverse everything to reassemble. The problem with that is there are protective films that need to be removed and a particular order that makes reassembly much easier.There are some great videos on you tube that give you much more clarity.All in all, unless you are mechanically inclined and detailed oriented I would not recommend this product. Its certainly not and easy installation. ### ⭐⭐ !!! The screen did come with all the necessary components to perform the replacement. HOWEVER, upon replacing the screen and after powering on the phone, I noticed that it had a worse resolution then the original factory-installed screen. The capacitive-touch response of the screen was also not up to par with the original assembly. This made it very difficult to navigate through web pages and perform other simple tasks on the iphone.
