I have stacks of cassette tapes which just don't get played anymore as everything is digital now days. I have a turntable vinyl record converter to MP3 and thought there must be a cassette converter out there so I went straight onto amazon and saw a few which didn't really impress me but then came across this little wonder and I am so very glad I did as it's a everything I wanted and more. The cassette player & mp3 converter is very well packaged with good instructions and USB cable. The device is really quite nice looking and all the buttons are easy to use and well placed with the usual buttons at the top for operating the cassette player and buttons on the front for the digital functions with a very nice and clear operational display. There is a wired earphone port but the built in speaker has good sound, OK it's not brilliant but sitting next to you at a mid-range volume it sounds good. Transferring to mp3 is very easy and I was amazed that the transfer quality is much better sounding than the actual cassette tape, I've transferred about a dozen of cassette where the music isn't available on any of the providers and it's wonderful to listen to the music again. I popped the card into my phone and downloaded the music so that I can bluetooth it to my Bose player, but I still play the tapes on this cassette player with earphones at night to chillout and enjoy the cassette as I use to, but have them backed up as the cassettes will wear and become unplayable but the digital copies are backed up for continued listening pleasure. The player came fully charged and lasted ages, it is slow charging but it does hold a good charge. An excellent device at a remarkable price!

I received my order of this Gracioso Cassette to MP3 Player / Converter and the box had slight damage. The player, itself, seems ok but the SD card was missing and the digital display was faulty. I tried a cassette in it and it played well enough and actually sounded ok, so I sent it back as a return ( I would suspect I had received a returned item ? ) and ordered another one as replacement. This one was perfect and everything was present and working exactly as it should. The unit itself is decent enough in its construction ( although it is mostly plastic ) at the price. It works brilliantly though, once I got to grips with the operation. Recording straight from cassette to a SD card via a usb adapted saves a lot of work in conversion via software etc. I am disappointed that there is no instant refund ( it will take up to 7 days to process into my bank, apparently ) but I would recommend the cassette player / MP3 converter to anyone looking for a simple way to convert old cassettes to digital format. I am using mine to store some demo tapes of my old band and it has already brought back so many memories of a great time in my life.

This is a terrific solution to the problem of what to do with old cassette recordings. When I broke my old portable tape player, I could find few simple options online, but this one works brilliantly, recording to its built-in micro-SD slot (for which you get a free card pre-installed). This makes the work of digitizing super-simple, and the experience is greatly improved by the fact that the unit's volume controls only the onboard speaker (admittedly poor quality, but good enough for monitoring) and does not affect the recording levels. On top of that, though it's hard to see it anyway in the 'manual', the unit can be powered both by battery (it's quite a faff to install one as you have to remove screws, for unknown reasons) or by USB-C, which is a fantastic addition and should be made clear in their publicity. Weird features include an mp3 track already on the SD card which plays odd water sounds any time you turn off the cassette itself: the first few times I though the thing was possessed, until I figure out how to delete it. But even after doing so, anytime you record something, as soon as you stop the cassette, the digital recording plays back which is far more irritating than it sounds. There is no way to stop this from occurring each time, so get used to it! Other than that, this is a great little machine. I'll treat it with kid gloves because some other reviewers say that theirs stopped working after a while, but, so far, mine is working perfectly. Highly recommended, especially at the price.

Does EXACTLY what i need it too. REALLY PLEASED! Very straightforward to use, both for playing like a traditional Walkman, as well as for converting tape into .mpg file. Brilliant value for money. REALLY CHUFFED : )

What a super machine. Easy to operate, good sound and very good recording of cassette to micro sd card (and contrary to one review, I had no problem with the one supplied although I do use a San disk to be on the safe side). My only negative point is that as soon as playback of the cassette ends it starts playback of the sd card - not good to go to sleep to one thing and be woken by loud music half an hour later. Tip: take out the sd card! Great value for money. Thoroughly recommend it.

I needed to digitize some spoken word cassette recordings from the 1970's and this did the job for me perfectly. It would have cost me more to give them to a professional to transfer them, so I was very happy with this. Audio fidelity was not a top priority for me - I just wanted to let a 94 year old woman hear her brother's voice for the first time in over fifty years and, the quality of this cassette player was good enough. If your needs are as simple as mine, and the player you ordered works as well as mine, then I can recommend it unreservedly.

So I bought this so that we could play my father's old cassettes in the house.. He's been playing in his old car since the 80's up until recently and all were in perfect condition... First couple of tapes seemed to play ok but I did notice there was an underlying 'warble' with a couple sounding as if they were being played ever so slightly quicker than they should. I did try to do a quick Fast-Forward and Rewind to re-tension a couple of the tapes and it seemed to fix a couple of the shorter length cassettes, but the issue were still there... It fails to completely rewind/fast-forward a couple of his C90/C120 'mix' tapes, basically 'slipping/grinding' to a complete stop while making a god-awful noise. AND THEN IT HAPPENED... Less than 5 minutes into playing Tubular Bells and the unit decides to chew up the tape.!!! We've had the unit LESS THAN 24 HOURS and it's destroyed one of my father's favourite cassettes. He's old school so doesn't use new tech/streaming services, replacing this cassette is now going to cost me a fortune... NOT HAPPY... YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED, DON'T BOTHER... RETURNING FOR REFUND

In some ways this is a great item - very easy to use - just press play on the tape and record on the front of the machine in order to copy to the micro SD card. When the tape stops the track is automatically saved to the card. You can turn the tape over and repeat the process and each side of each tape will be saved as a separate track. HOWEVER, I have had this item for just over a week and already the SD card has failed twice - suddenly the display shows "NO" (i.e. it does not recognise that there is a card inserted). This happens without warning so if you had already recorded a number of cassettes to the card you would be irritated to put it mildly since the only option is then to reformat the card, losing everything stored on it, and start again. Consequently I have been removing the card and copying the MP3 file after ever cassette side, which is tedious. As others have mentioned, there is a track already on the card which is necessary to get it to work, so if you end up having to reformat the card you will also have to add an mp3 track to it before it will work again in the cassette recorder. I'm not sure yet whether I will persevere with this or return it, although there are limited alternatives if I don't want to download software onto my computer (which I would rather not) EDIT: Editing this review to say I received a very swift response to this review from the seller (which I wasn't expecting) immediately offering a refund and a replacement item. I am adding an extra star for excellent no-quibble customer service, which is a rare thing!

Ich habe den Kassettenspieler sowohl zu Hause mit mehreren Kassetten als auch unterwegs gründlich getestet. Dabei stellte ich fest, dass weder Verzögerungen noch Probleme durch Bewegung auftraten. Besonders erfreulich war, dass der Kassetenspieler keine Kassetten verschluckte – sie ließen sich problemlos abspielen. Dieses Gerät zeichnet sich durch seinen leisen Motor aus und bietet die Möglichkeit zur einfachen Digitalisierung von abgespielten Kassetten mit nur einem Knopfdruck. Excelente producto, muy buena calidad

J'ai retrouvé de vielles cassettes audio de repas de famille enregistrés par mes parents et quel bonheur d'avoir pu non seulement les écouter mais les retranscrire en fichier audio sur la carte mémoire et ensuite mis sur mon téléphone et mon ordinateur. Très facile d'utilisation, il suffit de mettre la cassette audio et d'appuyer sur un bouton pour que le sont s'enregistre sur la carte mémoire. Vous mettez la carte mémoire dans la petite clée USB (fourni) et ensuite sur l'ordinateur et vous récupérer tous vos fichiers audio en mp3 ! Le son est excellent et c'est bien là qu'on l'attend et le nec plus ultra c'est la batterie rechargeable (plus de pile !) Ce que je pourrais reprocher c'est l'ouverture du couvercle pour insérer la cassette qui n'est pas des plus pratique. Evidemment c'est du plastique, il faut donc être délicat avec les touches (à voir avec le temps...).

Cumple lo que promete de sobra. Viene con tarjeta micro SD incorporada y trae un adaptador de USB para el ordenador. Según pones la música, graba automáticamente y puedes escucharla por el altavoz que trae, que se oye bastante metálica, o por la entrada de Jack de 3.5. Muy buen producto.
