After having this barely a month, all I can say is it works exactly as stated: protects the cords and controller inside from water intrusion. Going in I have a 12/3 extension cord with a 3 block connector with 1 extension cord and 1 small WiFi control box for color changing outdoor spot lights. The 4 latches, one on each side close the box tightly. Only regret is I wish I would’ve purchased the large vs medium box as the extra space inside might come in handy for future projects.

Quite pleased with the box. It’s roomy and I like the way the lid locks so the wind can’t blow it up or off. I’m confident the he extension cords are totally protected from the weather.

I thought it was good to protect electrical cords from the elements, but unfortunately I was wrong as water had somehow gotten into it.

Die Außenbereich Elektrobox IP54 wasserdicht macht einen stabilen und wertigen Eindruck. Bei mir kam sie im Außenbereich zum Einsatz und hat ihren Zweck zuverlässig erfüllt. Die Box ist tatsächlich gut gegen Feuchtigkeit geschützt und bietet ausreichend Platz für Kabel und Steckverbindungen. Auch die Verarbeitung wirkt ordentlich und robust. Würde ich weiterempfehlen. 📦🌧️🔌

I would say expensive for just a box however is perfect for outdoor use and has rubber around hole to put wire through giving extra level of being water tight
