Ho scelto questo Seagate IronWolf Pro da 8TB (modello ST8000NTZ01) per aggiornare il mio array RAID, e le differenze rispetto alla serie standard o ai drive desktop sono evidenti sin dai primi test di stress. 🛡️ TECNOLOGIA E AFFIDABILITÀ Il punto di forza di questo disco è la tecnologia CMR (Conventional Magnetic Recording). In un ambiente NAS, dove i riscritture sono frequenti, evitare i dischi SMR è fondamentale per non avere cali drastici di performance durante le ricostruzioni RAID o i backup pesanti. Sensori RV (Rotational Vibration): Essendo la versione Pro, include sensori per gestire le vibrazioni rotazionali. Nel mio case a 4 bay, questo garantisce che le vibrazioni dei dischi adiacenti non influenzino la precisione della testina, prolungando la vita del drive.
