If you know what an apron belly is, that’s my situation. I wanted to get something that I could wear everyday and wasn’t going to a.) break the bank and b.) feel like I’m wearing the worlds worst girdle/corset. This product hit those marks lol. I will say, the crotch closure does suck, like other reviewers have noted. It’s a pain to close back up in the bathroom, so either pull it to the side or stretch your arms before attempting to reclasp it. I have basic sewing skills so I just cut out the excess parts and sewed up any potential fraying areas. By doing this, I have found that as long as my underwear is properly covering my “lips” the clasp is barely noticeable. My only other “problem” is that the form fitting portion of the garment don’t go all the way down to the crotch clasp nor all the way to the under-bust. This isn’t a huge issue but it does mean I have to take a few extra moments to adjust where the fabric is sitting or I get back boobs because the shaping stops halfway up my love handles. With all of that said, for an everyday piece of shapewear, it fits well, doesn’t break the bank, and is quite comfy.
