Review: Wow - The actual thing is smaller than I thought it would be, but I opened the box and used it on a seemingly clean 3’x5’ rug and within a few minutes it pulled up a volleyball sized poof of cat hair. So it definitely pulls hair out of rugs. It was a short pile rug, not long pile or looped, which might make a difference. It was very easy to use and inexpensive, though if you have trouble bending down or crouching/kneeling, the expensive name brand version offers one with a long handle that may be easier to use.

**Q: Can it be used on sweatshirts?**
A: Do not buy!! It will rip your material apart!!!

**Q: Anyone use it on your car floor mats? Mine always have stubborn hair and lint that the vacuum doesn’t pick up. Wondering if this would work**
A: Yes it works great. I use it on my furniture, carpet, floor mats.

**Q: Can I use this on a cashmere sweater?**
A: I wouldn't chance it, this product caught on my fabrics and snagged it terribly. I ended up returning it. It also didn't work well at all with removing pet hair.

**Q: How does this work on big knits?**
A: This works best on material that is firm.  I would not use on a sweater or leggings that could be snagged.

This product does remove hair, it is scrathier than I expected to the point where I was worried it might damage my fabric. I think this may be better if used on carpet which is what I orginally bought it for but I did try it on fabric chairs and it worked.
