Love the quality of these jars,love the pattern and measurements on them and enjoyed canning some pears from my tree , absolutely love the wide mouth ,great for fruit.

I decided I wanted to heat treat my chutney after putting in jars so that I could get a good seal. I’ve used all six jars now and have had an interesting introduction to canning. It hasn’t been easy to buy a pan tall enough to fit the jars in and have a good inch of water over the top and to have a rolling boil that didn’t involve the water jumping all over the cooker top! However I have just about managed and now have six filled and well sealed jars of chutney in my cupboard for the Winter that I am confident will not spoil. If you are just starting out I would say that a jar filler and canning tongs are essential purchases too. The jars themselves seem very traditional, good quality and have embossed writing on them and two part lids. I like them a lot and would buy again if I need some more.

These are excellent jars! I really wanted to find some jars that I could heat up in my Instant Pot (pressure cooker) straight from frozen - so that I could batch cook soups, stews etc and then take a jar straight from the freezer and heat it up to eat immediately - without having to wait for the contents to defrost and empty into a different pan, creating extra washing up! These do the job perfectly - others I have used have split when freezing or heating, but these are really strong and sturdy. I've also had no issues with the lids rusting. Buying another set!

These are a great shape for freezing due to their straight sides (no neck like on other mason jars). Just make sure to fill an inch or so below the top to account for liquid expansion. I regularly freeze homemade bone broth, portions of sauces or soups. I defrost in the fridge overnight or on the countertop for a few hours. They’re standard wide mouth mason jars in case you’re looking for lid replacements. Also great for fermenting small batches of hot sauce! I’ve owned Ball mason jars for years and have never had one crack, and I break a lot of dishes I’m ashamed to say!

Great jars - the perfect size for overnight oats. Sturdy, easy to clean, nice to hold and look at, they’re just what my daughter and I have been looking for. Came quickly and well wrapped, so no breakages (my worry after reading reviews). An excellent price too.

A very nice product to a very nice price. My cat always knocks over the container with water when I'm painting with watercolour, so I bought this to have a sealable container, so if my cat did knock it over while its sitting on my desktop the water would stay in. 10/10 would recommend for anti-cat behaviour. Another plus is the cute design on it!

I am new to preserving and have decided to try water bath canning so these will be ideal. I look forward to using them. They seem good and sturdy and Ball brand is highly recommended everywhere I look so hopefully they will live up to their name.

They are legitimate Ball canning jars. Great value for money and the shipping was so quick to where we live. Jars were packed well, no cracks or breakages. Will be buying again in the future again

Excelentes, no puedo decir más. Perfecta terminación y tamaño para infinidad de usos. La boca ancha te permite rellenarlos con suma facilidad así como una correcta limpieza. Las tapas en dos piezas me parecen fantásticas y no parece que sean fácilmente oxidables. Encantado!!

Die Gläser kamen sicher und sehr gut verpackt bei mir an. Die Größe ist perfekt für mich, um mir mein Porridge mit zur Arbeit zu nehmen oder auch mal einen kleinen Obstsalat. Die Öffnung ist dafür genau richtig. Bisher ist mir auch noch nichts ausgelaufen, auch nicht, wenn das Glas in meiner Tasche umgefallen ist. Besonders schön finde ich die CUP und ML angaben an der Seite des Glases. Ich wasche meine Gläser und den Deckel immer mit der Hand ab. Die Gläser können allerdings auch in die Spülmaschine. (Den Deckel lieber mit der Hand abwaschen und abtrocken sonst rostet dieser evtl.)

Al vele jaren enthousiast gebruiker van Ball Mason glazen. Sterk, hygiënisch, te gebruiken voor mixen / drinken / opslaan. Past perfect in de deur van de koelkast. In vele andere formaten verkrijgbaar. Let wel op, alleen het binnendeksel in de vaatwasser, niet de ring van het deksel (die even met de hand).
