Update: Replacement arrived!By the way, I did forget to mention that the original lure did have a decent strike however as most anglers will attest you can get a hit and fish will hang on and release lure.I used the replacement lure yesterday and ran thru a Shimano Waxwing, Kastmaster, Bobber (set to sink). I found the Truscend does run deep (I casting on the flats 3.5'). Make sure you adjust your rate of retrieve and rod tip angle (up) to prevent getting snagged on bottom.Used it a couple of times and action was very lifelike (looked like local bait fish for trevally), craftsmanship very good....however eyeball fell out. I asked for replacement and it is on it's way!It was very easy to change out treble to single inline hook.

These did the job. I lost a Whopper Plopper and didn't want to spend the money for another one. These were cheaper and using the black/purple color on a cloudy day produced a ton of fish. At one point I went 7/7 bites to casts. The hooks held up well.

Good action, the kind you would expect from a prop bait. Hooks aren't the best quality definitely considered replacement if you are going after bigger fish or trying to use them in the surf.

These lures work great in both freshwater and saltwater! Perfect for bass, catfish, and more. The action is realistic, and they’re super versatile for different fishing conditions. Highly recommend!

I like the size for most fishing but wish there was a larger size for saltwater. I am impressed by its action! Top water I like to keep all the line I can in contact with the water. Helps set the hook and hinders a jumping fish from throwing the hook. With the rod tip 6 inches from the surface I reeled and jerked at the same time. What a fess on the water! Splashing, darting, bubbles and noise! Easiest plug ever to walk the dog. I went back and ordered two more sets! I would like to see this lure in 5 to 6 inch length for saltwater.

I have used baits like this a lot, and they move very realistically. This one doesn't balance, so it wobbles along on its side more than anything else. Made 2 casts and put it in my "wasted money" tackle box.
