SPARES2GO Wheelbarrow Wheel Tyre and Inner Tube (3.50-8, 35PSi)

So glad I bought a pair of these tyres and tubes. My wheelbarrow had served me well and as I'd had it for about 8 years, I was prepared to junk it and replace. However, seemed a waste as only the tyre was constantly going flat, the rest was strong and has years of use left. So, a search brought this company and an exceptional deal on a pair of tyres and tubes. For 16 pounds I thought, I'll give it a go, if no good then I'll replace whole barrow. Tyres arrived on time and in good order. Fitting was easy and the tyres are sturdy and have good tread. Glad I found this site as provided excellent value for money and saved me buying a new barrow

Excellent but - great value - easily put on

Quoted £10 by my local tyre fitters just for one inner tube. £16 for two tyres and tubes therefore excellent value. Tyres look and smell a bit plasticky so not sure how robust they’ll be. Fitting no problem but needed careful adjustment to get the tyre centrally on the hub (Walsall Wheelbarrows polypropylene wheel) before inflation. Initially thought I’d trapped the tube near the valve but not so, perhaps the tyre a little larger than the hub. OK after a bit of a fiddle, no one wants an eccentric wheel even at wheelbarrow speed. Be aware also that the valve stem sits centrally in the tube but no difficulty wiggling it into the off centre aperture on the wheel.

Not the world's best quality tyre, but at this price it's really good value. More than adequate for wheelbarrow use.

The valve is central to the inner tube and my original was offset, so made it fun to fit the tube and tyre. However it was cheap and my wheelbarrow is now mobile
