I've had this for 4 months now & used it several times on camp outs. It does what it purports to do. The serving sizes are rather small & this barely cooks enough for 1 adult, but that's all I need it for, so it works great for me. It is easy to clean & comes with silicon trays that clean up well.

Although I did not use this unit, it was so small… And that was OK. But I realized if I have to spend time cleaning this, I might as well get a bigger one, cook more food, and make the effort of cleaning it a little more worthwhile.

I can't really speak to its actual use, but it seems well put together.

This thing cooks great although its purely designed for one person… you really have to have an aggressive sunlight for best results and greasy meets like bacon take forever to cook well. When it comes to quality its not really that good, the lid does not seal properly causing all the food to drop out of it staining everything. Well like I said before its made in china you cannot really expect much.

Tested it on a cold but sunny day. It took a while but heated up water enough for hot chocolate. Going into my bug-out bag.

Its also difficult to clean. Its not really big enough for a whole meal cant cook potatoes i this i tried 1 hour to cook potatoes i just ate them half raw. Its like half the size it needs to be for a meal. Also worried about breaking it but it hasnt broken yet. It could use some better stand to angle it too i normally just rest it against a rock or wall.

Got this for when we go camping, but went ahead and tried it out and it works perfect. It's lightweight and easy to clean. I would definitely recommend.

I can see the advantage of adding one of these to your prepping supplies. You may not have access to any propane or cooking fuel. Maybe not even matches to light a fire. As long as you have some canned goods or other food that could use heating. You can at least have a hot meal during the day. As long as the sun is shining.
