Worked great for a cover over a drain in the garage, I was able to trim it and attach it to the remnants of the old cover. Looks neat, stops items dropping down there.

If you need steel meshing in a application where spot welded mesh won't do and twisted mesh has too large openings, this is the mesh you want. Finding woven wire mesh is ridiculously hard and without it my updraft high temperature wood stove would just not work as well. Other advantages is that this is stainless steel (at least it looks like it) rather than the usual galvanised steel, so it should be extremely durable. As there is no welding in between perpendicular wires it is extremely easy to shape into form and does so in a very clean fashion with no crumples and producing mesmerisingly smooth shapes. Bear in mind that, as this is not welded mesh, you will probably loose a couple meshes on the side to fold it back (and prevent it from loosing wires) unless you are mounting it in a frame.

Bought this item to use as replacement mesh on or kettle filter and it works a treat. We will be able to get at least another five filters from the remaining mesh after cutting out our first replacement, but I suspect that will not be needed as this is stailess steel rather than the flimsy nylon filter that came with the kettle. Also the cost was less than a third of the cost of replacing the original filter with a new one from the manufacturer.

Perfect for covering the ventilation holes in my hive roof that I made. Keeps bees and wasps out of the roof but allows ventilation. Unfortunately quite expensive for a little section but reassured that it won't corrode in this coastal environment unlike galvanised steel or even aluminium.
