Amazing IEM I almost didn’t buy
If you read the reviews on this IEM there are a lot of people saying how poorly it performs, that it is very noisy. I purchased it for use in a band situation with other vocalist and guitars. After receiving it, I tried using it connected to just my guitar and it was noisy, I was dismayed. I contacted NUX directly questioning this issue. My question “ Is there an explanation why it will work in a performance or rehearsal situation but would be noticeable in a silent practice session “ Their response. “Ugly facts: The system is a stereo and wireless setup, meaning that the raw data size is double that of a mono wireless in-ear monitoring system. To ensure a stable connection, we compress the raw data to some extent, resulting in a slight loss of sound quality and occasional high-frequency distortion. This distortion is more noticeable when using the system for quiet guitar practice sessions. However, it performs exceptionally well in live performances and band rehearsals where multiple instruments are mixed together, and the distortion issue is significantly reduced. “I have since used it with my band and it works really terrific. I did not notice any noise, It is so small and light, and was a pleasure to use, much better than the speaker monitors.

Almost great, but it's a failure.
I desperately wanted to love this product. The materials, functions, storage case, and overall look are fantastic. Unfortunately, the sound quality is absolutely awful. There is an always present static noise that will not go away. I tried every combination of volume and gain settings on the monitor system and source audio, but could not get the hiss to go away. I read the other reviews that claimed this and I really wanted them to be wrong, but in the end I had the same experience. I'm genuinely sad that this was the case, beside the sound quality, everything else is great about these. But, for an IEM system, sound is all the matters.

Well Designed Kit
This kit worked better for me than the bulky UHF system I've been using. The UHF kit has a constant static sound in the background that's especially prevalent when using IEMs. This NUX kit has basically none of that constant noise. Though, it does distort slightly when playing back certain higher pitch sounds. The entire kit is very compact and would be nice for a traveling musician or content creator. Build quality is very good and it feels like a professional piece of equipment. I'm using it alongside a DJI Mic for my needs and the two wireless signals do not interfere. Major plus there. 200 dollars seems a bit steep until you get your hands on it and realize it's solid. My only concern is the longevity/ repairability of the small batteries in the RX and TX units. They've got to be small and small lithiums tend to reach their end of life sooner than you'd like. Hopefully NUX offers repair service or replacement parts when the time comes.

I want to love it, but sound quality is a dealbreaker
I wanted to try DJ-ing with wireless in-ears and this seems like the only product out there that has A) a battery powered transmitter that can just plug right into a headphone jack, B) stereo audio, and C) low enough latency because it's not Bluetooth. The transmitter and receiver are small and lightweight, came pre-paired right out of the box, the charging case is quite nice, and it even includes a screw-on 3.5mm -> 1/4" adapter. Sadly, the audio quality is a dealbreaker for me. It doesn't have hiss or static like a low-quality analog link, instead it sounds like a very low bitrate low complexity digital audio codec (because it probably is). Things get crunchy, especially in the high end. Sometimes the artifacts can get hidden in full-range music, but speaking voices are very obviously crushed. Basic Bluetooth SBC sounds better.

Great idea, but terrible sound
If you remove all frequencies except low ones on the equalizer, then strong sound distortions and clicks are heard (does not depend on the sound source that was used). It is possible that there are distortions at other frequencies, but they are not so noticeable. to be clear. I decided to keep this device because my measurements correspond to the manufacturer's specifications and the device may be useful. and this level of distortion is expected due to the prioritization of latency minimization over sound quality. but I want to warn that this device is not suitable for everyone. in my case, I prefer to use a wired headphone connection whenever possible.

Not worth the price.
I bought the NUX B-7PSM's when they first came out because they are 5.8ghz which was rare at the time. My experience with them has been ok. They've never failed me in a practice or a gig. They are noisy. I like how they add that to the item title now because they are noisy. 5.8ghz works great. The charging case is handy. Cheap plastic leaves a lot to be desired. I've taken very good care of mine and they've never been dropped. However, the power button on the receiver body pack pushed into the unit and can't be retrieved without busting the cheap plastic unit open. There are plenty of equal if not better options out there for a fraction of the price nowadays. Hopefully, NUX comes out with a better version because I'm a NUX fan boi. Just not a fan boi of these pricey but noisy and cheap plastic things.

Excellent Product
This product is an excellent solution for musicians, performers, and anyone who needs a reliable wireless monitoring system. The sound quality of this system is exceptional. The stereo audio transmitting provides crystal-clear sound, with no interference or signal dropouts. The in-ear monitors fit comfortably and securely, and the sound isolation ensures that you can hear every detail of your performance. The charging case is also a great feature. It is compact and easy to carry, and provides up to 6 hours of use on a single charge. The LED indicators on the case and earbuds make it easy to see the battery status, so you can always be sure that you have enough power. Another great feature of this system is the 5.8 GHz wireless transmission. This frequency range provides a stable and reliable connection, with low latency and no signal interference. It is also easy to set up and use, with no complicated menus or settings to navigate. Overall, I highly recommend the NUX B-7PSM 5.8 GHz Wireless in-Ear Monitoring System. It is a high-quality product that provides excellent sound quality, reliable performance, and convenient features like the charging case. Whether you're a professional musician or just someone who wants a great wireless monitoring system, this product is definitely worth considering.

I think there are a bunch of defective units out there
Judging on the other reviews this thing is either amazing or garbage. There must be a manufacturing issue. What I got was total garbage and it’s going to be sent back. The mids and highs have a terrible breakup and fizziness that makes it almost unusable. It’s not a gain staging problem either, if I slowly turn up the output for the device it’s plugged into i get the same thing, just with unusably low volume. I was in LOVE with the idea of this, and I tried everything but it just sounds terrible. Based on the reviews here I have no confidence a replacement would be any better, so I’m goi g to return it and try the xvive units.😢

Buzzy sound specially while playing an instrument.
The product is very good regarding the charging case and compact form and battery. But the sound is very bad and noisy. It is little noticable during YouTube or Spotify playback. But during recording, there is a clear buzzy sound which is there. Each stroke of guitar or similar instrument creates more buzzy fuzzy sound which is verymuch annoying. I need the form factor and there is no similar product available at this price, that why I won't return this item. The company should work on the buzzy sound.

Great unit for the money
This is fantastic for gigging musicians. It can be plugged directly into a unit such as a hx stomp or (with the appropriate adapters) into a mixing desk or XLR on stage to the desk. I use with in ACS in-ear monitors and the sound quality is great. There is no interference like I used to get from my U Vive, which broke after about a year anyway. The fact that you charge the transmitter and receiver in the case is brilliant, as once the case is charged you can get a quick boost whenever needed. Highly recommend this!

Rauscht leider
Tolles Konzept. Bei mir im Setup allerdings zu viel Nebengeräusche.

Works great - better quality than my Shure
I read all the bad reviews and bought them thinking I would possibly be sending them back but what a surprise - they are outstandingly good. The only problem I can foresee is the fairly short charge - I will have to remember to turn them off between sets or I may even buy another so I can use and charge all night long. (I do a total of 1 3/4 hours on stage playing but I am there for up to 4 hours) but well worth it for the excellent sound quality.

Only lasted a year of very moderate use...
performance-wise excellent unfortunately after one year and a day the transmitter ceased to function and I have yet to have heard form either Amazon or the manufacturer about a refund.
