Bought it for my partner and she's very happy with it. Likes the smooth opening action and the quality of the fabric and the pockets for the spikes. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Stylish urban umbrella, but not strong enough for seafront! *by M***S on 13 October 2016* A very style conscious umbrella. I had to return it though, as I live on a seafront and really need the strongest, stormproof umbrella there is! Anything else and over the years I've learnt to my cost, there is no point! I bought this umbrella as the seller had listed it as 'stormproof' but after I ordered it I went on the Blunt website and saw that this particular make isn't their stormproof version, (that's another one). This is however, sturdier than your normal everyday umbrella and definitely a cut above most. I knew however from the moment I opened it, that it would not suffice for my area, mainly from the feel but also how the spokes were attached to the fabric - I know I need sewn seams along the spokes and these were attached by quite flimsy looking pieces of cotton thread. I liked the design and the colour and especially the fact that the ends of the spokes are covered and incorporated into the 'canopy'. Nice and neat - and much safer for crowded areas - It is good for its target audience - It's in the name - Metro. Not for gale swept seafront roads. The packaging it comes in (tube) is also very stylish but I can't help feeling that all those design details have added to the rather high-price and not necessarily the practical function.
