How often should I water it?

If you are asking about the Lego Orchid set, you don't water it.

Why do so many pre-launch questions seem to promote an overpriced third-party display case?

to keep the dust off the lego display once its finished. I bought a display case for my steamboat willie mickey mouse boat.

How hard is this to do for an adult with no lego experience ar all?

This one is a little complicated at the base but pretty easy to do with no experience

Will Lego Botanicals fade in direct sunlight?

I think it’s likely it would fade over time if left in direct sun. It certainly catches dust.
