Worked with no pairing
Was looking for a new handset for my elderly mum and wanted one with no set up or pairing. (Wasn’t even sure which freesat box she has but needn’t have worried). This was exactly that - took straight out of the packaging and it worked immediately. So pleased and she’s thrilled as her old one just wasn’t working properly.

Worked straight out of the box for Humax Freesat HDR 1100S
Order arrived very quickly, so pleased. It was for our old Humax Freesat HDR 1100S 500GB box - Setup was so easy - after inserting batteries it worked straight out of the box. Now all the buttons work, unlike our old handset

There is a typo error in the set-up instructions.
Set-up instructions say use the TV button at top centre of unit as part of the set up procedure. This wrong & the unit will not set up. After several hours of searching & waiting for a respmnse fro Humax they advised to use the STB button at top left of unit to set up. This woeked well.. The unit has been in use now for some weeks & works well.
