This is my second bag for the stand so first replacement. Original bag lasted two years but eventually got a bit grubby and the elasticated binding perished. No hesitation to replace like for like as I have been very happy with the performance of this simple set up.

Perfect for making jam and vinegars

The manufacturers have changed the shape of the strainer and the base is wider than the the Tala straining unit. The straining unit will only fit over some sizes of jugs so the bag overhangs and can drip outside the jug. I have tried other strainers but even allowing for its drawbacks, it is still the best option I have found so far.

Works as intended, slightly larger than the old style bags which caused some spillage but not dissatisfied with the outcome

Exactly how it’s described. Good for extracting juice from fruit when making jam. Need to have replacements as the structure is long lasting but the bags need to be replaced. This depends on usage and amount of times you need to wash them.

Seemed expensive for what it is, hence one dropped star. But it fits the Tala equipment perfectly, and even though I sometimes squeeze it too hard, it hasn't burst or anything yet. Good quality and strong.
