Performs as expecte
Definitely got what I expected out of this combo! Got it on sale and it has been performed as expected for the price and make! I got the blue combo and love the color on it. Paired it with blue braided line and cast surprisingly smoothe. Im still a little skeptical on the rod as I try not to rip the fish out of the water when i set the hook but so far it has held up nicely.

Rod broke on first cast out of the box.
I took the new reel and rod up north to my cottage near Houghton lake, Michigan. I got everything set up. On my first cast the top of the rod broke off, about 3 to 4 inches at the top. That was very disappointing. I had to watch my friends fish. I went to Walmart and had ro buy a new fishing reel rod combo cause they wanted 50 to 100 dollars to buy a rod by itself. The whole thing was frustrating. Cheap crap don't buy.

Amazing rod for the price everything works as it should I’ve had it for over a month and nothing has broken on it if it does your not using it right. It’s not all about who has the most expensive rod if you set this thing up right it will cast without thumbing it. Recommend
