Good logic book but small for price
I feel like for the price it wasn’t that great of a buy. Very slim logic book.

Overall a good buy
The first 6 problems in this book are 3x3 grid deductive reasoning problems. The clues given help the child understand how deductive reasoning works in a small framework. The rest of the problems are 4x4 grid problems. The clues start out with 1 deductive implication ie Sally did not ride the red bus. Then they move on with more implications ie the girl with the back pack and her sister rode on the same bus as Sally. There was a slight increase of difficulty from beginning to end. I think the purpose was to give enough practice at this level which I think is reasonable. Eventhough, my child got the hang of it early on, the more he continued to be successful the more he enjoyed it. I gave only 4 stars because 1) There are only 29 problems. 2) there was no extra challenging problems at the endI would have liked to see 6 more problems of perhaps 5x5 grid at the end for a total of 35 problems. This would whet the childs appetite for more and give increase of challenge for those students who really understood the deductive reasoning method.

Pretty good logic problems
Pretty good basic logic problems. My son's biggest problem is actually gender identification of the names, which is crucial for a lot of the problems. The names used are common names for my generation instead of my son's, which is a problem since it's his workbook.

Greater intro to logic problems
I ordered this book for my newly-turned 7yo in the fall. We are finishing it up this week and she has LOVED it. If I would have let her, I think we would have finished it the first week I gave it to her. She has always loved jigsaw puzzles and its been fun to introduce a new kind of puzzle to her. I will be ordering the next one in the series for her.I do think the ages listed for it are just a bit high. My daughter is pretty average and had little difficulty with this book.

Quick logic puzzles
My daughter has been bored in school, so I got this book to make up for the fact that there is not a whole lot of learning in 2nd grade. The puzzles are short enough to complete in a few minutes. She likes the fact that she can black out the appropriate boxes in the grid. It only has 29 puzzles, so it will not last long; but, it does the job.

Great Logic Book for Younger Elementary Kids
Bought this for my son who loves to be challenged. This particular book/level was too easy for him. I'll try one of the books for higher grades. Received item as advertised and in a timely manner.

Great mental exercise!
At first my 6 year old had trouble with the basic concept of solving these puzzles, but she quickly got the hang of it and now zips through them with pleasure. Her initial trouble was in realizing that a statement such as "Daralynn, the boy with the yo-yo, and the girl with the jump rope..." does NOT mean that Daralynn is the boy with the yo-yo. The book has 29 single page puzzles of increasing difficulty. The first six lessons have 3 pairs to match (it's Kevin who had the yo-yo), the rest have 4.

Really good logic puzzle book for 2-4th grade!
As a homeschool mom I want my kids to be able to use their logic and reasoning skills. I bought this book for my advanced 2nd grader, and boy is he challenged. This is the first time he has worked on logic puzzles. Each puzzle has a story and a grid to deduce the correct answers. I feel like this book is accomplishing exactly what I bought it for.
