Filtered Shower Head, 7 Modes High Pressure Shower Heads Chrome

Seems to be well made, looks classy, is bigger than we thought it would be, provides adequate water pressure and has a bunch of water stream options. The shower head came with a small roll of teflon tape. Very easy to install, just make sure you clean up the threads on the shower pipe first with a wire brush for the best fit before installing the teflon tape. I haven’t changed the filter yet, but I’ve read it’s not the easiest thing to figure out or do. I’ll battle that when it needs to be done. My only complain is that the shower head itself is pretty stiff, stays in place, which is great, but as you need to move it around you have to use a little force and the water spray position will rotate and change what you have it set at because the position clicks are not very strong. This is a minor issue personally. As far as skin dryness goes, we’ve definitely noticed a difference after about a week now, a huge difference, no, but definitely noticeable. Our water has tons of chlorine in it, so this really helps to filter that out. The question is how long will this filter last with the amount of chlorine in our water? Only time will tell. I’m giving it 5 stars, as of right now, as the build quality is high just as nice as an American name brand company, the ease of install, and cost being very affordable, I may drop a star when it comes time to change a filter. This is a great option for someone looking to get a new shower head and who needs filtered water.

I absolutely love this shower head. I feel a big difference with the water pressure and the feel of the water. It was easy to install. And the different shower modes are awesome. I definitely recommend this product.

I am loving the new shower head. I watched a video , so I do know how to install the replacement filter. I noticed the water pressure seemed more. I haven't washed my hair yet but I didn't itch as much after shower. I itch alot regardless due to menapause n the Oklahoma heat. I do like this and very glad I purchased ☺️

What a difference. I have had dry itch skin for a while but since changing this shower head it has made a difference. My skin is less dry after a shower and smoother . I will continue using it even ordered filters for future so I don’t run out.

UPDATE 07 JULY 2026: Two days ago, I replaced my original shower head to compare notes. As suspected, there isn't much of a change between this shower head and the old. Hard water is just that: hard water. Only a softener is going to make a difference and this shower head simply does not have the capability of making a difference. As for the claims of removing other chemicals such as chlorine, it should come as no surprise to anyone these chemicals are not in a quantity this filter "effectively" removes. In short, what little chemicals there are isn't enough to do damage in the first place. It is my opinion the shower head is adding something to the water rather than actually removing anything. Perhaps a softening chemical? Or maybe the charcoal does take the edge off. Whatever the case is going on, what it definitely is not doing is removing the harshness that is hard water. Save your money. If you truly want better water, and cannot install a full house system, look into portable water softeners and see if they'll work for you. No more placebos, folks. Original review: If you're reading this review, it's likely you've read other reviews, perhaps even somewhat convinced this product softens the water. It does not soften the water and I'm disappointed the product description hints at this. Water softening requires salt in order to change the ionization of harsh minerals, which is what our whole house soft water system did. Those reviews stating it "softens" the water seems comparable as Brita applying reverse osmosis for its filtering process (which it doesn't). I'm giving the product 4* because it's clear it is doing something, though I suspect it's only working against larger mineral deposit and perhaps the chlorine harshness. I can feel some difference, but if I'm being realistic, it's barely a 10% difference. Though, anything is better than nothing. It's also important to note this unit does not have a reservoir, meaning it can only filter as fast as the water passing through it allows. This makes me more skeptical it's doing anything meaningful. In regard to the water flow, the instructions state the 1.8gal/min restriction device is not attached, but it was on the two units we purchased. The rings were clearly visible in the unit and match what the instructions show. I'm sure needle nose pliers can pull them out, but the slower flow doesn't bother me. I am using the largest spray setting and I'm content with it. If you do feel the pressure is too low, pull the ring out. Just bear in mind doing this will further reduce the time the filter works against the water. I may update this review in a month if I sense a better performance in time. This is a new filter and the two showers I've had so far may just be due to the filter not having been "broken in". Though I doubt I'll see any improvement. Installation was a breeze and for those reviews complaining about leaking, I can promise you it's because they didn't follow the instructions. One thing to note is the attachment is 100% PLASTIC which means you DO NOT EVER want to over tighten. If, after installation, it leaks, not enough plumber's tape was used and/or the inner ring was not present (one unit had the ring, the other did not, so do check!). Remove the shower head and the tape, and reapply with no less than 3 turns around the threads (but don't go more than 5). If you do not know how to install plumber's tape, ALWAYS wrap it in the direction of how the head will screw on, which means you wrap the tape to your right. This ensures the threads don't pull up the tape as the head is being screwed on, which of course, causes leaks. Unfortunately, this is one of those products you'll need to try out for yourself to determine if it'll work for you. Everyone has different ideas of what's best for them, so on this note, I'd say go ahead and purchase this filter and try it out. After all, anything is better than the hard water.
