Brilliant purchase! My daughter and I wore these walking 26 miles for charity, all vulnerable areas were cushioned, would buy again!

I found a pair of 1000Mile socks I had totally forgotten I had. Likely I had bought them when, close on 20years ago, I used to do a lot of walking/hiking. I am now 78 years old so no longer do this. However I started wearing them regularly and loved them so much I wanted another pair. I bought these new socks because, from the description of these, they seemed to be very similar to the old pair. Suffice to say that, likely because of the merino wool, they keep your feet and calves very warm and, unlike other slightly thicker socks I have, your feet DO NOT sweat i.e. your feet stay DRY and therefore WARM at all times.

Would recommend. Really comfy and padded in right areas. However a little big for me, I'm size 4. Great service from seller.

i was recommended these socks from a shop in keswick as my walking boots were giving me blisters, i just recently trekked the 3 sisters of glencoe and for the first time ever - no blisters and very confortable, really happy with these

Best walking socks in the world only joking but they are amazingly comfortable we did 7 peaks in 7 days not a single blister fit great and comfortable

Tasked with getting some thermal walking shoes for someone off their birthday list and not having a clue what would be good and what wouldn't, I stumbled accross these on another site and decided to look if they sold anywhere else and here they were on Amazon at a much better price!Recipient loves them! Said they are perfect and do the job they say they do!

Love these socks...sorted out the slight discomfort around the ankle I was experiencing with my new bootsGreat for a days walking really comfy..In face ordered a couple more pairs and have been wearing nothing but these since got them..Not sure about the coming summer though as they are a thick warm sock

These were very loose round the ankle, heel and foot. Hard to believe they were designed for women’s feet. You can see from my photo how wide they are compared to the ribbing at the top. Without fitting properly, they moved about so much that they caused blisters after only a couple of miles on their first outing. Tried tightening boots etc but so many wrinkles as they are such a bad fit. I have owned other 1000 mile socks which were much better - and other premium hiking sock brands. Waste of money and won’t be using again.

Elles sont très épaisses, donc je les utilise en hiver avec les sports de neige ou s'il fait très froid, bien moelleuses, mais un peu larges cependant quand on a les pieds fins.
