It washed nicely and since it’s solid, I added one of my quilts to give the room a splash of color. It’s thin, but nice. I would recommend. My only complaint with this and many of the king size quilt sets is that the shams for the pillows have a center opening. If you’ve ever tried to put a king size pillow in a sham with a center opening, you will know that it’s like wrestling with a pillowcase and hoping you don’t lose and rip it. I wish that they would make the opening at an end, instead of in the middle.
