They do retain a lot of water from the structured sole, so make sure you take them off outdoors to pour it out. The sizing was a little hard to figure out for half sizes. I am a 9.5 women's and ultimately went for the 10 since I'd prefer to have the option of layering wool into them once it gets really cold. I feel like I could have sized down to the 9 with the stretchy neoprene. However, the larger size doesn't risk coming off my feet due to the secure fastening over the ankle. Over all I recommend.
