Review: expensive, but good card - It's a large card with a somewhat fragile power connector. If you want to avoid any possible issues with that power connector: 1. get a case that is plenty wide so the side panel is not close to the top of the card where the power connector is. too close and cables will have to be bent/curved which can put too much pressure on the connector. This is more of an issue with the 4090 and 4080 where those cards consume a lot more power, but be aware this card uses the exact same 12VHPWR power connector. 2. mount your GPU in the vertical position if possible 3. leave side panel off while a right angle adapter could possibly alleviate the issue, the problem is that right angle pins are another possible source of a failure. the company "CableMods" recently did recalls on their right angle adapters and they are a PREMIUM custom cable company, so this just means you have to be careful in how you setup your pc. I chose the cheapest and most simple route, I left the side panel off my case. I highly advise installing the GPU sag bracket. Even if you have a tall case like mine where the bracket is not tall enough, find something to stack underneath the bracket or find another bracket that will work. The point is, it's a large and heavy card, eventually it will sag which could cause other issues. Performance wise, it's great. I installed the card with it set at default settings and it ran BF 2042 with the game maxed out settings at 1440p and get well over 120+ fps, RT is off. cyberpunk 2077 at 1440p, maxed settings, no RT, at around 100 fps, your mileage may vary depending on your cpu/mobo/RAM setup, i have a 5900x, 16GBRAM at CL 16 on an asrock x470 taichi mobo. I have ran teh card with RT on, it looks very nice but I don't run it usually because I like having the extra perf for smoother gameplay animation. It's also a quiet card with temps peaking at about 72c after 2 hours of gaming. With all of this said, if you can afford it and you know and can plan accordingly for the power connector, then this particular model has been a great experience and worth considering since it tends to be one of the lower priced models. I was able to pick one up for $760. I know that the rumored "Super" models are coming out soon, so there is a possible further price drop going to happen, but I simply could not wait because my 980ti(8 years old) died and I had no GPU.
Review: Crazy powerful for a good price - This thing is crazy powerful. It destroys my Zotac 3060 OC edition I bought a few years ago. Unfortunately I bought my 3060 during scalping season and literally paid the same price as this. ;( For reference, on a system with large amount of RAM and CPU head room, I could run at least 8 titan fall 2 sessions before really seeing anything bad. Ofc they were all on lower graphical settings. Compared to my 3060 that could barely do 4. And believe it or not, I think it hit 128W, it was super power efficient. Not sure why it wants a 700W psu. How about rendering particle simulations in blender? 3060 needed the frames baked to play at 24fps. For the same sim, this ran it in real time. Its great for rendering film. Noise is not bad, runs quietly. Or at least the noise is overshadowed by my cpu fans.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: How does this fair up with other brand aibs? Bottom tier?**
A: Like the other answer stated… no idea why Zotac gets so much hate. I have a 2060 that’s gotten tons of use and it runs cool, quiet, and punches above it’s weight. I’ve got a buddy that got a Gigabyte 2060 at the same time and the Zotac consistently outperforms it. His other system specs are better than mine too lol. I’d recommend Zotac in a heartbeat. 40 series cards are no different.

**Q: Why does this adapter have 3 8pins while some other manufacturer cards use 2 8pins for the adapter?**
A: From the manufacturing stand point it is to allow for more power than needed to pumped into the card if necessary but I have ran this on 2 of the splits instead of the full 3. However the full 3 spilts give you better performance but uses more power

**Q: Do you get warranty?**
A: Yes. You do get a warranty with the item from the manufacturer once you register the item on the zotac site

**Q: Will it fit in aAlienware aurora r15?**
A: I wouldn’t be able to say. What I can recommend is taking the dimension of the card on the description and see if they measurements meet your specifications

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Complete Satisfaction
*by A***R on August 11, 2024*

Was purchased for a gaming workstation. Pro 1: Absolute jaw dropping performance. I can play any game of my games at any spec. Pro 2: Gaming performance is so high that I think someone will need specific reasons to want more power (like handling AI models). Pro 3: Major improvements editing videos and reduced encoding times. Scrolling a video timeline on a 10GB+ 4K vid is nowhere near as laggy as my old GTX 1660. Con: The cooler styling is plain and the aRGB side logo is not ascetically pleasing. Pro Tip: Use the included GPU support bracket. The card will flex and possibly crack the PCB which would void the warranty.
