Leo's Paw The Original Pet Hair Removal Massaging Shell Comb

This party-mix gentleman was once a lanky, short-haired stray desperate for attention. Now he has a triple coat dense enough to make yarn with, and the temperament to match the extremely hot and humid climate of the tropical country we live in. Brushing is often met with bites and grumpy swatting because of how often his fur gets tangled or matted. His fur gets that way because he doesn’t allow brushing. As you can imagine, this is a chicken and egg sort of problem. Well, as the photos and videos will demonstrate, this particular one has been well-received. This is one brush that not have to be rehomed to a less finicky (or less furry) cat, so I’m well pleased. 5/5. Just wish it came in other colours and bristle lengths + shapes!

I have a Maine Coon cat and he has an abundance of hair and dislikes being brushed. So I was doubtful in buying this to use as a brush. I am completely in awe!! First my cat loves it and will lay on his back so I can ‘brush’ his tummy. It doesn’t detangle the larger hairballs but it easily slips through his hair and it gets the smaller tangles, it’s small so it’s easy to handle and doesn’t scare him. The hair collects on the ‘fingers’ and easy to remove to dispose. It is surprisingly strong and the fingers do not break off or bend so far. I’ve not used this after a bath so imagine it will be very helpful on wet hair also. This is one item I do want to keep in stock. I 100% recommend Leo’s Paw!

One of our cats is small and relatively thin. Ordinary brushes, even when used super gently, are uncomfortable for her because she’s a bit bony. This brush, being small with soft flexible tines, is perfect for her and she loves being brushed now. Our other cat, who’s not exactly thin, loves this brush too.
