Five to six months and they crack and need to be replaced.
This is my third purchase of this antenna. Although I do like that, it is longer than the stubby ones for reception purposes. The same issue occurs to each of these so far is them cracking in the middle and splitting and needing to be replaced.. giving this antenna one more chance before I move onto something else and I have averaged about 5 to 6 months of use per antenna.

Better reception than stock antenna. Bends great in carwash

Not good
They advised how great this product works but when installed it works for a short time then all of a sudden the stations become static and hard to hear. I put my old one back on and it works perfectly.
