HENCKELS Forged Synergy 2-pc Asian Knife Set, Black/Stainless Steel

I have several of these Henckel Forged Synergy knives and recently ordered this set. I am an average cook and these knives are a nice upgrade to my kitchen. They hold their edge and the weight of the handle is substantial for a nice, balanced touch, easy to use. I love the clean, minimal look and I hope Henckel will consider retaining this design in their line up.

I have small hands but like a substantial handle on knives. These are easy to hold, no slippage. They are sharp.

Nice and sharp. Hoping they won't rust like the other set I had (different brand). The Henckels knives I already own have held up great, hoping for the same from this set.

Disappointing.

I bought these to round out the standard J.A. Henckel knife block set. The standard set has several open spaces on the storage block. I bought these to fill the holes. When they arrived, I found the knives to be the same high quality as the rest of the knives. The surprise was how useful were the new additions. They fill a niche for those small cutting jobs. I am glad that I bought them.

Another great product for the price. Not for the profesional chef, but great for the home cook or beginning in the field. Great edge on the knives. Time will tell on the products sturdiness.

Purchased this set for my son-in-low. This is not my first purchase of J.A. Henckels knives. My first one go back to 2000 when I purchased my first set at Macy's (Burdines). And I still use them! Then it was another set few years ago, and no regret again. Highly recommend J.A. Henckels brand and the seller.

Very nice, sturdy knives. And, VERY sharp!
