My watch keeps stopping. i bought it just few days ago. i constantly have to reset the time when seconds hand starts ticking. what do i do?

This watch is a chronograph and the second hand stays at 12 all the time. It only moves when you push the button to start it. Push again to stop then push the other button to snap back to 12. It also runs on a battery that might need replacement.
