I didn't know anything about this before buying this, but I have taken magnesium in table form before and it seemed to work well.I was looking for something to help my muscles recover quickly as I train at the gym usually twice a day, and do a lot of cardio, particularly bike and x-trainer. I came across this and thought I'd give it a try.I think I've felt some benefit from it but I've only had it a few days so still monitoring it.I've found it stings a bit but not enough to stop me using, and it's possible it happens on areas that are more sensitive generally. Yes it does have the feel of oil but I gave my skin a minute and it did dry in within a minute and it didnt ruin clothes. It can leave your hands feeling a bit oily after applying it but again it does dry in. I used it for the first time last night. I had a ballet class on Monday and could feel the stiffness last night starting to increase. I also had pulled a muscle to the back of my calf which had been niggling all day. I applied it last night and really massaged it in where I had pulled the muscle. I couldnt believe it when I woke up. The stiffness I had been feeling was gone and so was the niggling from the pulled muscle, I could actually walk properly today. I'm going to buy the pure magnesium oil. I think the spray would be handier to apply before ballet class. I would then use this one before going to bed especially when I've had a class. I didnt get much of a reaction, no burning sensation, just a tiny bit of an itch to the shin area.
