Unable to tighten, not a hexagon.
Appeared ideal but because of restricted space and only one pair of flat sides (1/8th piece) for spanner unable to tighten up so replaced with original manual vent valve which had hexagon (3 pairs of flat sides) thus able to tighten.

Does the job
Seems to be doing the trick. Pay attention to the instructions that recommend using PTFE tape around the 1/4" thread and don't skimp on it or it will leak! Otherwise pretty good.

Kept weeping.
Fitted the 1/8 version to an old radiator. It hissed and spluttered and leaked for a bit as expected but it did not seal and continued to weep for about an hour before I gave up and replaced it. I may have a faulty one as others seem to have made it work. I do feel that the shank on the 1/8 is a bit short only about 5 threads so it may have been leaking from there but I don’t think so.

Wots my thread size?
Unfortunately the size of 1/8 THREAD to big for my radiator. This is frustrating for me as it seems i need a non standard vent fitting. Ive included picture of your product alongside my old plug for comparision
